Recruitment Scams 

Recruitment scams or employment fraud occur when a deceitful company pretends to assist you in finding a job, but instead aims to trick you into revealing personal information or giving up money. These fraudsters might pose as legitimate recruitment agencies, making them appear authentic and may even provide a link to a genuine recruitment website to try and prove their credibility. To further deceive victims, scammers might arrange 'real' job interviews to make their ploy seem genuine. 

In addition to obtaining your personal information, scammers might also ask for payment in advance for 'work-related' expenses or request your bank account details for salary processing.
